Walker Tape®'s Gel Release adhesive remover is an alcohol-based specialty remover designed to provide a precise and controlled adhesive removal process. Fast-acting and skin-safe, Gel Release quickly breaks the adhesive at the base, allowing the system to lift away with minimal tension. Also easy to cleanup!
Gel Release is only made to separate the hair system from the scalp. Another remover must be paired with Gel Release for full adhesive removal.

We recommend performing a patch test before use.
Directions
- Apply Gel Release directly on the perimeter where the adhesive is bonded.
- Allow the gel to sit and saturate the adhesive thoroughly. Use more as needed.
- Gently and slowly lift and remove the hair system from the scalp.
- Once the system has been removed from the scalp, use a stronger Walker Tape adhesive remover for full adhesive removal from both scalp and system.
Flammable - do not store or use near heat, sparks, or open flame. Use in a well-ventilated area. Close lid tightly. Do not apply to cut, broken, or irritated skin. External use only, do not ingest. Avoid eye contact. Keep out of reach of children. Test on a small area before use.
Storage
Store in a well-ventilated, cool, dark, dry, room-temperature controlled environment (60-80°F). SDS sheet is available below.
Q. Why do I need to pair Gel Release with another remover?
A. Gel Release is designed to gently release your lace or mesh system from the scalp to protect the unit, but not to fully remove adhesives.
Q. Does Gel Release leave any residue?
A. Gel Release leaves very little residue, making it easy and hassle-free to cleanup.
Q. Will Gel Release damage my lace system?
A. Not at all! Gel Release is designed specifically to help gently and effectively remove lace (and other) hair systems without damage.
