Walker Tape®'s Sure-Stick hard bond is a maximum wear (3-5 weeks hold) adhesive, built with an optimzed lid to help extend the shelf-life of the adhesive. Designed to be extremely strong, Sure-Stick helps to stick even the hardest to-hold to clients and is reliable in tough conditions. You can trust Sure-Stick for a secure and flexible bond.
- The Strongest, Longest-Lasting Bond: Hard Bonds are formulated with a hold time of 3-5 weeks, allowing for a long and strong bond.
- Great for Tough-to-Hold Wearers: Since hard bonds are meant to stick to hair stubble, and are built stronger, they are not as affected by sweat, oils, or anything else that can make bonding adhesives harder for wearers.
- Bonds to Hair Stubble, not Skin: Hard bonds stick to hair stubble rather than skin, allowing for a more comfortable and safe wear.
Do not attempt to work with hard bond adhesives unless you are a professional.
Track Bonding - Directions
- Shave the hair around the top of the scalp, where the perimeter of the hair system will sit.
- Be sure there is at least 1/8" of hair stubble for the system to attach to.
- Using German Brown, apply the tape around the perimeter of the hair system where it will attach to the hard bond. This will protect the hair system.
- Apply a small amount of Sure-Stick adhesive to the hair stubble. It may be helpful to work in small sections because the glue dries very quickly.
- Press the hair system firmly in place. Hold for at least 10 seconds.
Keep the product away from heat, humidity, and light. Store in a well-ventilated, cool, dark, dry, room-temperature controlled environment (60-80°F) or in the freezer. Bonds body tissue in seconds. Get medical attention for eye or internal contact.
Q. What’s the difference between a Hard Bond and a regular liquid adhesive?
A. There are a few differences between a hard bond and a liquid adhesive, but the biggest difference is that hard Bonds are more rigid in bonding, while liquid adhesives are more flexible in use.
Q. Can I apply Sure-Stick directly to the scalp?
A. Sure-Stick should not be directly applied to the scalp or the skin. It should only be applied to the track of hair stubble that was cut during pre-installation.
Q. How does one remove Sure-Stick?
A. To remove hard bond adhesives, shave the adhesive from the scalp along the “track” of hair stubble – now grown longer - that the adhesive was applied on.
